Windows ME Setup - Dial-up Networking

1. On your desktop, double click the My Computer Icon.
Then Double Click the Control Panel icon




2. Double-Click the Dial-Up Networking icon


3. Double-Click the Make New Connection icon.



4. Click the Next button


5. Type in a name for the internet connection (i.e. ITSpeed)

6. Then select your modem name from the drop down menu

7. Click the Next button


8. Type in the Local Access number of 597-1500 to connect to ITSpeed.

9. Click the Next button



10. You have now created your Dial-Up Networking connection.

11. Click the Finish button


12. To create a shortcut on your desktop, right click on the ITSpeed icon and click Create Shortcut. Now, in the Dial-Up Networking window, double click on the ITSpeed icon to connect to the internet.

13. Enter your username@itspeed.net

14. Then type in your password



15. Click the Connect button to log on to the internet.
